The archetypal beauty of the Stick collection, conceived by Studiopepe, evolves around triangular elements with minimal, essential lines
The triangle is one of the simplest geometric shapes, with clear and perfect edges. Symmetrical and instantly recognisable, this pure form also conveys silent messages.
Depending on how it is positioned, a triangle represents stability or instability, with an inherent tension throughout the design. It suggests action, balance and purpose.
The archetypal beauty of the Stick collection, conceived for Contardi by the creative duo of Chiara di Pinto and Arianna Lelli Mami (Studiopepe), evolves around triangular elements with minimal, essential lines; the use of a repeated object allows for infinite configurations. According to the viewing angle, Stick’s ribbed diffuser – encased within a metal structure in satin copper and golden nickel finishes – emanates an atmospheric light, while being functional and multifaceted.
For instance, Studiopepe has designed the triple suspension piece to illuminate art galleries; yet it can also adapt with ease to simpler settings, such as corridors, retail and residential environments, offices and workspaces.
Thanks to pure and architectural elements, stripped of any unnecessary detail and constructed with technical excellence, light takes the leading role.
We hope you enjoy our new communication tool that tells you all about the Stick collection.
