NYCxDesign sees Contardi USA open the new Design Hub in the vibrant NoMad District of Manhattan. This is an exclusive address that offers a complete experience in the world of the "Couturier of Light".
A dynamic metropolis, New York has always played a central role for Contardi Lighting. With this new opening, the company aims to strengthen its market presence in the US.
A new stage in a growth strategy that, ten years after the opening of the American division Contardi USA, has seen the creation of important projects linked to the world of hospitality, such as the Park Hyatt in Washington DC and the Mandarin Hotel in Miami, thanks to the company's ability to develop cutting-edge lighting solutions, in full compliance with the highest standards and certifications required by the market.
"The American market represents a huge challenge for us, filled with opportunities and challenges to master. Our conviction is that we can find the key to tackling this demanding adventure with enthusiasm. The US market can be guaranteed by Contardi Lighting's expertise and excellence-oriented approach", says Massimo Brigandì, General Manager of Contardi Lighting.
The new space, conceived as a multifunctional hub that combines offices and showrooms, is aimed at sector professionals, such as architects, planners and interior designers, providing them with a personalized consultancy service and giving them, at the same time, the opportunity to discover the brand's latest lines and the most representative products.
The collections on display showcase Contardi Lighting's ability to combine craftsmanship, attention to detail, technological research, and a sartorial approach. This is in the name of achieving a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Solutions that are well suited to various living environments, demonstrating the versatility of the products.
Among the highlights of the space are the Bianca collection by Dainelli Studio, in the suspension and wall lamp versions, which, with a special bulb designed by the company, guarantees excellent lighting performance. Massimiliano Raggi's Fly family is a strong, yet light, product that can be directed and accentuated by distributing it punctually and elegantly with a double-sided profile. Additionally, Studiopepe's Stick collection offers a versatile lamp that can be configured in infinite ways, beginning with a simple triangular module.
The company's best-seller, the Calypso range, available in floor, indoor, suspension, and suspension XL versions, is a must-see, designed by creative studio Servomuto. Also on display is the Kiki Ap Connect modular wall lamp, a virtuous example of technological innovation by Contardi Studio, that allows you to create different wall patterns with fabric cable to create beautiful compositions.
Clara and Muse outdoor lamps complete the exhibition with a soft atmosphere that illuminates en plein air, gardens, terraces, and yachts. Lastly, portable battery-powered solutions like Ongo.
